Welcome to my personal academic website!
I am Dr. Belle Damodara Shenoy, a mycologist and Scientist F at CSIR–National Institute of Oceanography, Regional Centre, Visakhapatnam, India.
My research focuses on fungal diversity, molecular phylogenetics, taxonomy, and DNA barcoding. I am particularly interested in understanding evolutionary relationships among fungi and advancing their identification, classification, and systematics through integrated morphological and molecular approaches.
I also serve as Managing Editor of MycoAsia Journal of Modern Mycology, contributing to scientific publishing and the advancement of mycological research.
Through this website, I share my research, scientific publications, teaching and training activities, editorial engagements, and academic collaborations.
I welcome opportunities to connect and collaborate with students, researchers, and institutions interested in fungal biodiversity, systematics, and evolutionary biology.
